Outer Banks South Carolina Travel
Two weeks ago, I crossed my list to visit the Outer Banks in North Carolina. My husband and I stopped for a week on our recent trip with motorhomes along the east coast to the inland banks, and people really want to go on holiday there. Last week, our family drove to Ohio and then on to Outerbanks for our first visit. Our home is there because there are no highways, no roads, only ferries, but because it is so close to home, I am one of those who really want to go there.
The bread and butter of holiday rentals in the Outer Banks is holiday letting, and there are a host of agencies to choose from. There are a number of hotels on the Inner Shore, but they are primarily destinations for renting out homes.
While the beaches of the outer shores are the main attraction, there are many other things to do on the inner coast. From the South, getting to the Outer Banks is as easy as taking the I-95 northbound for an hour on Interstate 95. This route would take you through the state of North Carolina and into South Carolina, but south of the Inner Banks you never get there.
